JANUARY NEWSLETTER

Dear co-workers in Christ,

Greetings from Musekee, Northern Thailand, I am so excited to be able to write what is happening in January 2025, hoping that you all have a good start of 2025 with Peace and Joy from God.

Relax in His Healing Presence. As you spend time with God, your thoughts tend to jump ahead to today’s plan and problems. Bring your mind back to God for refreshment and renewal. Let the Light of His Presence soak into you as you focus your thoughts on Him.

God read your thoughts continually, searching for evidence of trust in Him. He rejoices when your mind turns toward Him. Guard your thoughts diligently; good thought-choices will keep you close to Him.

We will never stop praising Him and thank Him for what He has done and what He is going to do for this coming year for His people through our service.

Health: January is still very cold, but the children are able to adjust themselves to the cool weather, Thank God no one gets serious sickness, only few of them got flew but no serious.

Activities of the children and staffs of HRDC:

On 1st January 2025 Attended New Year Service at Mae La oop Church where our Kids were asked to sing a song.

On 03rd January 2025 we have dedicated our Garden Hut for the gardener to live.

On 05th January 2025, Sanboon, Twin blind (Lek and Ben) went back to school, before going back to school we visited Pastor Paul at Potter’s House and witness the Baptism of one of the Chinese girls who came to visit their church.

On 13th January 2025, Children received donation from friends who lives in Pai, they enjoyed to received them.

On 25th January 2025, WE had a Music and Singing competition at Ban Daen Church, we had 8 groups came to joined the competition, we are so thankful to God for bringing these young people to improve their Music and Singing to praise God.

On 19th January 2025, children learning to speak English with the visitors from Pai.

On 27th January 2025, Yupi and Yupa completed their Leadership Training course in Chiangmai.

Kaw Thoo Lei:

Thanks for all the prayer you have for the children at the border especially for the Mu Aye Pu school children, Praise God for Protecting them till today, and providing food for them. The political situation in Myanmar is not stable and can not trust the Military government, changing every day,

Children are suffering for their education; we are praying that the Lord will continue to strengthen us that we can find some more helps in their educational system.

We always need your prayer support that the Lord always paying attention to your prayer, please keep praying for Kaw Thoo Lei, karen states and the whole country of Myanmar.

Visitors and Visiting:

On 06th January 2025, new twin visited from the village of Hwuihya Tai, and looking for help for their need to feed the twins.

On 12th January 2025, visited the old people at Hwuihbaba village, to share the Gospel as well as giving a special gift to each of the old people. They were overjoyed and happy to see us. Though they are not believers, they are happy for us to pray for them and their children.

Between 9th – 18th January 2025, Handclasp Team visited us after so many years, we are so excited to see them and we are very much encouraged by their visit.

On 13th January 2025, visited Dong Sam Muen Village school with new friends from America, children enjoyed playing with them.

On 14th January 2025, visited one of the handicapped name Moses at his village of Mueng Paem, Pai District, Maehongson.

On 22nd January 2025, a group of circuses came to do the show for the children at the center, we also invited the children from the village. They all enjoyed to watch their show.

On 15th January 2025, visited Alumni at Hwuihya School, we are thankful to God for being able to be an official Government Teacher at the school.

On 15th January 2025, evening visited one of our kids who got the accident, pray for him and encourage his family.

On 19th January group of people came to help children to practice speaking English at the center.

On 30th January 2025, New group with simple musical instrument and teaching Art for the children. And bringing the children personal need. We are so thankful to God for bringing more people who want to help children in any way they could.

What we accomplished in January 2025

Completed the Music and Singing competition on 25thJanuary 2025 at Ban Daen church.
Have done half of setting the farm in the garden.
Children already improved on their learning music especially playing guitar.

Next month plan:

Plan to visit Mu Aye Pu to see border children – check their improvement of their Thai language and giving the children to do weaving and chilly paste.
Plan to bring water from the farm to the center,
Continue to work on setting farm.
Plan to continue to build the quarter.
Plan to visit a new village where they started a new school.

Need:

1.More sponsor for children always needed for their education.

2.Financial support for building, maintenance and sustaining project and staff’s support

In Musekee center, Maedet and Mu Aye Pu

3.Support for Evangelist, widow program, and Handicap and twins babies need

Future Projects:

Build fencing all around the HRDC Musekee
Solar panel system for the center and farm of HRDC, Musekee
Concrete Pathway at HRDC
Organize the Music and sport competition for the youth.
Work on the sustaining Project 1. Farming and Agriculture and planting more trees in the farm. 2. Start businesses where we can earn support to support children in the future.
Introduce Karen Musical Instrument to the children.

Prayer Request:

1. Pray for kids, staffs and sponsors for Musekee Resources Development Foundation.

2. Pray for Hmong children, and Teachers at Dong Sam Muen village, that one day the village will come to know Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal savior.

3. Pray for Border kids Mountain Education Program, starting from May 2024 onward. Wisdom from God and financial support to continue the program. Need more support for the project to continue.

4. Pray for MRDF vision and plan – short and long term to be a self-sufficient support for the future.

As the year of 2025 begin, we will continue to seek God’s Will in everything we are planning to do, let everything be done according to God’s Will not our Will. Let Thy will be done earth as it is in Heaven

Whenever we start to feel afraid, remember that He is our Shield, His Presence watches over us continually, protecting us from both known and unknown dangers. Let us entrust ourselves to His watch care, which is the best security system available. He is with us and will watch over us whenever we go.

Thank God for His Peaceful Presence, regardless of our feelings. Whisper His Name in loving tenderness.

May the Peace of God always follow you all the days of your lives and forever.
